Did you know that God is not going to do for you what He has given you the power to do? You can sit forever, saying, “Why is God not doing anything? Why are we in this mess?” And you can cry so much that your eyes are in a rubbed raw rash, and yet the situation doesn’t change because Jesus is saying, “YOU do something! Exercise your faith. REBUKE the enemy in My Name. LAY HOLD. Operate somehow, someway, on a different level with the authority I have given you!” ANY adverse matter that is going on in your life, you have the power and the ability inside you from your seating at the right hand of the Father in the Name of Jesus by the blood of the Lamb and His anointing to SORT IT! You can point your finger in the direction of the trouble, and you can command it to SORT OUT right now in the Name of Jesus! You may say, “Well, that trouble is not obeying me.” Then you just lift your finger again, and you just begin to speak again! Because one of these days it’s going to connect!! One of these days, something will change in YOU, and you’ll see yourself as Jesus representative of Heaven on the earth! And when you say, “Messenger of Satan, LEAVE MY LIFE!” -- it will GO! You see, the command of authority doesn’t come from your throat; it comes from your SPIRIT. It doesn’t come from the place of the trouble. It comes from your positioning at the right hand of the Father. Whether that trouble involves yourself, your baby, your brother, your mother, or your friend, you have to stop the personal and emotional entanglement and begin to get yourself into your positioning IN CHRIST. As long as you keep dealing with it from the place of “Oh, that’s my baby, that’s my baby!” -- I’m telling you, the devil has got you where he wants you! There’s no power from that emotional positioning, and all the flapping and all the fluffing is not going to help the situation! You’ve got to take a step back and breathe deep, begin to pray in the Spirit, and pull up into HIM! “Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over ALL the power that the enemy possesses; and NOTHING shall in any way harm you!” -- Luke 10:19 AMP
