Did you know that an Insurance company cannot tell you that You Have to use their shops or their DRP(Direct Repair Program)? It is illegal for an Insurance Company to tell you that you have to use their preferred shop or their direct repair program shop. They will heavily influence the use of these shops to their consumers, however, it is ALWAYS the consumers choice as to where they want their vehicle repaired, and they cannot instruct you that you have to use the shops that are on their programs. They will try and sell you on the program shops, stating that they guarantee their work for as long as you own the vehicle... Any shop, who is reputable and trustworthy, will stand behind the repairs to your vehicle for as long as you own it, regardless of whether an insurance company was involved or not.
