Did you know that in 2013 a poll showed 66% of Atlantic Canadians supported a moratorium on cracking Did you know that the PC gov has already leased massive swathes of NB(nearly 1/7th of NBs land mass) to SWN for exploration and drilling. And that The Conversion to Lease section of NBs Oil and Gas Act clearly states that once companies have invested a certain amount of money through their exploration/mapping process then their leases to explore are converted to leases to extract. Then there is no way the Gov of NB can deny the conversion to lease if the the committed money was spent and there were no violations.
