Did you know that weight loss is a careful balancing act? One of the most difficult things for anyone who is on a healthy nutrition plan is to get portions correct. Most people start eating healthy but because they are used to big meals they have a hard time filling their belly until they are satisfied. Here are a few tips to help you out. 1. Eat frequent small meals. 2. Eat protein at every meal. (this will help keep you satisfied much longer than simple carbohydrates) 3. Eat Naturally, if it comes in a box then it is not healthy! 4. Eat a smaller portion for Dinner! The last meal of the day is usually our biggest meal. This unfortunately is detrimental to your success when trying to lose weight. If you eat too much at dinner time you do not sleep well and because your metabolism is slowed due to rest later in the evening you will store much of that dinner as fat. It is important to keep all of your meals portioned correctly but dinner is the most important meal to correctly portion!
