Did you know that working an office job can be harder on your body than working a job dong physical labor? The sedentary nature of office work can lead to chronic low back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, increased pain and tension in upper back, shoulders and neck, as well as tension headaches. Also, office jobs are often very demanding and stressful, contributing to anxiety, depression and sleep problems. Luckily, massage can counteract much of the stress and postural imbalance caused by prolonged sitting and computer work. So you can keep your desk job- as long as you schedule a regular massage! :)
