Did you pray for your pastor this morning? If you haven’t done so, I admonish you all to do so. Pray for you pastor daily. There are a lot of things your pastor goes through as the man or woman of God. While you are out having a good time, hanging out, living life all the way turned up, your pastor is constantly having his/her eyes, ear, mind, and heart opened to what thus saith the Lord. Every day of the week is not theirs, it is God’s. When you call needing someone to counsel you and your issues, your pastor is there. When you need someone to assist with some financial struggles, your pastor is there. When you need someone to pray for you, even in the midnight hour, your pastor is there. When you need someone to act as a buffer during the transition of your loved ones, your pastor is there. When you need to hear a message from the Lord, your pastor is there. Unlike your basic 9-5, MINISTRY doesn’t have a closing time. MINISTRY doesn’t have holidays off. MINISTRY, in most cases, doesn’t pay as well as your job pays or have 401K, health insurance, stock investment, and/or discounts. But your pastor answered the call to feed God’s sheep. Theres a lot that goes along with the answering of Gods call. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him/her shall be much required (Luke 12:48). So, pray for your pastor.
