I tried to kill myself last night !!! I was trying to dig one of those dam seeds out of an Avacardo for my salad and I was rushing cause SYTYCD was about top start when the knife slipped and just nicked the artery in my writs HOLY COW I have never seen so much blood in the seconds it took for me to realize what I did - it looked like I had killed someone in the kitchen - immediately my first aid knowledge came in to use and I stuck my thumb over the nick and yelled for Eddie - said I have cut myself I need a bandage she comes trotting in with a bandaid - no I said as blood was now seeping through my fingers and dripping onto my feet I need a bandage I have nicked an artery I need to put pressure on it well we did not have a bandage so she comes back with a face cloth better than nothing - so I folded it up and wrapped it around my wrist and applied as much pressure as I could while I was still trying to get my dinner finished so I could watch my program - it was a fiasco !!!! but I stopped the bleeding in time to watch SYTYCD eating my dinner with one hand and holding the injured arm up over my head. This morning I am healed up but I have this huge bruise on my arm where I had the pressure bandage - note to self - dont dig those huge slippery seeds out of avacados with the point of a sharp knife when in a hurry.
