Did you see the new blanks?? Chiyogami-Yuzen. Yeah, I didnt know what it was either!! Now, I have learned it is an established Japanese art form. It describes a way of dying paper(-gami) that originated with carved block hand printing. Began in the 1600s and was used for decorating small boxes. Seems like the transition to hand-made pens is a natural progression.
