Diesel often gets that faraway look in his eyes as his mind gazes back to happier memories. He must be wondering why people give up on him so easily. Betrayal is a difficult concept for a dog who only knows loyalty. Diesel thought he had a family for keeps but he was startled out of his fantasy when his beloved family brought him back to the shelter because they were moving. Diesel is favoring his left rear leg - probably the result of a groin pull we think. At 4-years-old Diesel’s already living on borrowed time & the alarm is going to sound tomorrow. They’re going to walk him to the back room where dogs are killed. No one has ever stepped up for this little guy. Isn’t it about time that Diesel gets a turn at happiness? Please be Diesel’s advocate tonight.
