Different jobs *A leading oil and gas operating company engaged in Exploration, Development and Production in Sudan is seeking qualified Sudanese Nationals to fill the following positions. Drilling Rig Supervisor Location: Field Scope of Work: . Supervises the activities of all personnel on assigned Rig. Performs supervisory functions at the level established by management for the position. . Supervises drilling, workover and/or completion activities on assigned rig as required, ensuring that drilling programmes are adhered to at each step of the operation, includes maintaining close liaison with the Drilling Superintendent and engineers in Khartoum to report observations and recommending necessary changes to drilling programme. Directs implementation of new instructions! programme details where appropriate, Liaises with Engineers and Geologists on requirements for testing and setting of final well head installations. Continually assesses down- hole conditions, providing feedback to Engineers, identifying abnormalities and providing recommendations for corrective action. . Plans, reviews and directs the receipt of materials and spares required for ongoing and contingent drilling operations on assigned rig. Includes planning requirements, reviewing arid approving field requisitions for materials and consumables, directing the receipt/returns of required/excess materials to ensure availability of optimum level of materials and spares on assigned rigs. . Supervises rig maintenance activities to ensure that all drilling equipment is in good working condition. . Enforces safety regulations on assigned rig to ensure timely execution of assigned drilling programme without prejudice to safety of assigned personnel, rig, well and reservoir . Coordinates all rig movements including planning tool service requirements and materials in accordance with the defined drilling programme. . Prepares and submits periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) reports covering drilling activities, problems encountered and safety drills. Minimum Requirements: . BSc or Diploma in Engineering discipline preferably Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent supplemented by short training courses ،n drilling technology, safety measures, first aid. . 6 years minimum experience in supervising drilling rigs Or Completion of Secondary education (11 years minimum experience). . Good written and spoken English. . Computer literacy. Senior Drilling Engineer Location: Khartoum Scope of Work: .Prepares standard drilling progress and procedures for critical operations and dangerous well situations ،n coordination with concerned services and Drilling Engineers .Monitors and follows-up the daily drilling operation to verify directional drilling data, drilling problems, providing consultation on equipment behavior and offering solutions .Analyzes problems occurring in equipment and drilling operations and provides technical advice to avoid such occurrence in the future and prepares reports and studies on those problems encountered . . Evaluates tender recommendations for the procurement of drilling and completion consumables to Protect Company’s interests. . Communicates regularly with work sites and seeks recommendations to drilling activities improvement and initiates modifications with Drilling Contractor . Keeps abreast with latest technology and disseminates the information to every level of drilling staff. Minimum Requirements: . B,Sc. in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical). . 8 years’ of diversified petroleum industry experience in drilling, completion and workover activities including 1-2 years well site experience. . Very good knowledge of English. .
