Dilemma of the Day: My partner and I are getting married next year. We havent booked anything yet due to my other half being rather tight with the cash. Because of this, his mum has taken it upon herself to start buying things for our wedding ... Im grateful for the purchases BUT my partner and I are not getting a say in what she buys. My partner couldnt care less as hes not having to reach into his pocket, but I feel like its not my wedding. Ive tried to put my ideas across and all I get is Oh thats nice dear but this will be much better and she goes off to do her own thing. Its even got to the point where we were only going to have our children as pageboy/ bridesmaid but she went behind our backs and asked her daughter to be bridesmaid so now I have to ask my sister to be bridesmaid too so its fair. Ive tried talking to my partner about it but he just shrugs it off or says I should be grateful for the cash. What should I do? Anyone else been is this situation? How do I tell her without it turning into a huge drama? #MWDilemma
