Dillon Motor Speedway New Years Sat January 2-3rd, 2015. Calling All Race Cars to Race at DMS for the New Years Saturday Event in 2015! The Biggest Race Each Year! Dillon Motor Speedway in Dillon, SC will get it’s season started early in 2015 by running the 5th Annual New Years Saturday Race once again sponsored by Raceway Automotive. This years event will be January 2-3rd, the Friday and Saturday after New Years. Rain Date Will Be Jan 4th if needed. With New Years Day falling midweek running on the weekend after won’t interfere with anyone’s holiday plans and will make it easier for teams and fans to come out and enjoy the race. Over 100 total race cars took to the track last year (2014) for this event. Purses are NOT based on Car Counts! Get Those Cars Ready and Bring them to the Track on the Saturday after New Years Day! The Track Opens on Friday at noon ($10 optional test day) for registration and practice begins at 1pm. Tire Sales, Gas and Inspections available on the Optional Test Day. Race Tires will not be allowed to leave the track and must be put in impound area. Saturday will be Race Day, Gates open at 9am, Practice at 10am (2 Rounds) and a Qualifying Session at 12 noon and the green flag flies on the 2015 season at 2pm. Saturday Pit Pass will be $30 with discounts for Kids in the Infield. We allow Kids in the infield to race with the Families!
