A tie is only to be replayed if a winner needs to be determined. *If a game is declined (and a bingo is not played on the first move), the initiating player shall restart another game. No other penalty will be assessed. If the declining player declines a second game, 25 points will be subtracted from their end score. *If a game is declined with a bingo played on the first move, the initiating player shall restart another game. On restart, if the first move is a 25 point word, 25 points will be added to the end game score to make up the point difference. A word must be played to get the penalty points, no passes or swaps. If on restart the player scores a play with a higher point value than the bingo in the declined game, no penalty points will be awarded. *If a game ends with a Pass/Swap and no tiles are left in bag, no penalties will be assessed. *If a game ends with a Pass/Swap and tiles are left in the pile. Emergency situations will be evaluated on a case by case basis. If you have an emergency delaying your play, let your opponent and admin know right away for a solution to be determined. All emergencies need to be communicated at least 24 hours before deadline. If games are moving slowly, take screen shots of slow play, so that you will not be held accountable for the incomplete games. All incomplete games will count as the score stands if reported by deadline or be will be scored as zero if unreported by deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS. If it can be shown one player is the cause of slow play through provided screenshots, the opponent will receive the average score of their other games in the round. Best practices: Take a screenshot of the final score. This helps prevent lost scores and helps clarify discrepancies in score reporting. In team tourney play, check in to team chat daily to make sure you arent missing any information that you may have overlooked on the site pages. Alert your captain to any issues you may be having. Most importantly, remember this is a game. We are playing for fun and because we love the game and challenge. Be courteous. Be smart. Have fun!
