In the latest issue of GQ, the musician recalls his feud from last fall, in which Diplo slammed Swift’s body and ended up in a war of words with Lorde, who defended her best friend by saying Diplo has a tiny penis. The artist tells the magazine that his comments were said in jest and explains the basis for his seemingly unkind words. “It’s really dumb. So many great albums came out that week, and all people talked about, on all the big press, was Me vs. Lorde, and Kim Kardashian’s butt. No one covered any music... So many tabloids used it to make it story, when it was not. Literally, it was such a tongue-in-cheek joke on both sides. I think Taylor Swift is such an impactful character, that it was because she was involved that it became really big. So Diplo doesnt seem to have a problem with Swift. But the supporter of Swift? Taylor Swift fans are really crazy, he says. They threatened to murder me and stuff. It’s really bizarre, and disgusting. They’re the worst people in the world. As previously reported, Diplo also tells GQ that he knows many Taylor Swift secrets, but he doesnt plan on revealing them.
