Dirthy, filthy, nasty, raw, ugly hideous, punk as f-ck, mentalist, banana mad audience losing their shit in a sweatpit bassment..Bassic in Boston did not disappoint at all this eve ! The crowd at @BASSIC_BOSTON were incredible, jus as they had been for the Warrior Queen show i did years ago. LARGE thx 2 the tea town mentalists !!! And gotta say, Damien (BASSICs promoter/head honcho) is a total gent. A nicer person u couldnt wish to meet, a nonchalently cool geezer with damn fine taste, and has harvested a great crowd down the years. Salute ! However i really did feel sorry for Manga havin to soldier it in such nutty conditions, spitting into the void, with no safety net..His energy levels were supreme, although at times neither he. nor i could hear shit...LOL..Now his voice is shot and he is lookin a little shellshocked. It was definitely not premium conditions, or top draw large stage professionalism, BUT, thats why it was so much fun here this eve. It was one of those very special occasions were you ride the storm despite the conditions bein far from perfect, because the moshpit/jump in the air crew made it truly worthwhile.. Was also weird/amazing that i met folks who were PROPER God/Techno Animal fans, to the point of obsesives..haha..Many thx for following me down this path..Been actually also mad seein Sunn o))), Big Black, Godflesh etc....t-shirts on display at so many of our shows over here.... So far every show has been radically different, in terms of set up, situation and location, but what has been amazing is every show, we have enjoyed fantastic reactions, whatever the potential hurdles. Thank u. Tonite was MAD. PS WAs great to meet up with the mighty misanthropic John Twells, a black countryite abroad for sue..Smart and funny as i expected.
