Dirty Diana at it again. This time picking on Koidu City Council. To the surprise of many officials from other cities in the country, the Hon. Minister of Local Government Diana Konomanyi listed Makeni (the President hometown) as the best performing city in the country. Diana listed Koidu City as the worst performing city in the country. Few months back the new Mayor of Makeni sent his councilors to Koidu City to learn from the anti corruption successes of the administration of Mayor Lamina. And in the past year there has been numerous visit by heads of other cities including Bo and Kenema to Koidu City to learn from the Koidu City experience under Saa Lamina. But dirty Diana care less about the successes of Koidu City under tight budget and next to no funding from the central government and zero taxes from OCTEA and other mining companies. Diana is doing this to humiliate her nemesis the popular young Mayor of Koidu City Saa Emerson Lamina, who defeated Dianas father F.D. Konomanyi by 90% to 10%. Diana has accused the young Mayor of being in the Vice Presidents (Sam Sumana) camp. Dianas hatred for the Mayor of Koidu City has caused Diana to hate Koidu City. And Diana has promised the people of Koidu City hardship for electing her foe over her father. She said that, as long as she is the Local Government Minister, Koidu City will not see development. In her capacity as the overseer of all the municipalities in Sierra Leone, including Koidu City, she will block all development projects and development fund meant for Koidu City. Her goal is to make the young Mayor fail. What Diana fail to realize is that, the failure of the young Mayor will mean a failure for Koidu City and Kono District as a whole. But Diana like her boss President Koroma dont care about the people of Kono. She dont care that what she does has an effect on the whole of Kono District. Can someone stop Dianas madness?
