Disappointed In Sears Automotive. They totally tried to SCAM Lindsey. She took her car there today to have the tires rotated for the warranty. They called her while she was strolling the mall and said, we had to jump start your car twice. You need a new battery She went back to the auto section to get her car, she wanted to just get her warranty rotation paperwork and go. After some back and forth about not buying a new battery, The girl said, well if you dont get a battery, I doubt they will release your car to you. She said, what do you mean? The girl said, they are not going to let you take the car if you dont buy a battery. Lindsey said, Give me my car keys please. The guy came out after the girl went back and said Maam, we dont recommend you take that car, we have had to jump it three time now. Lindsey said, that she would have her husband look at it and insisted she have her keys. He said, its in the bay running... so she got in it and came home. She has never had battery problems and still doesnt, it has started up flawlessly multiple times over the passed 1.5 hours since it has been home. We live 30 minutes away from sears, so if it was a charging issue, the battery would have acted the same after driving it there as it did driving it home. They totally lied about the battery being bad and then tried bullying her into buying one. Big mistake, trying to bully Lindsey! But those tires are the last item I buy from Sears automotive. Their little battery scam just cost them a lifetime of tires, alignments, and diagnostic trouble shooting money from me. Shame on them. I wonder how many victims they have claimed doing this.
