Disappointing, piteous and unfortunate that when , in a nation where issues are fighting for priority to be discussed in Parliament more than one and a half hours was dedicated for the discussion on the Middle East crisis. The very same Indian Parliament did not have the guts to rise up and take a stance on the UNs resolution on the war crimes committed by the Srilankan army and was but a mute spectator to the atrocities and heinousness on the people, who have strong ancestral , cultural, linguistic bonds with India. How is the outcry of the victims different? Why is the mass murder of the infants any different ? When the kin of over 72 million Indians were being slaughtered , raped and murdered barbarously, when its very own citizens burnt themselves alive begging the Indian parliament to wake up to the Srilankan issue. The parliament answered with apathy. How is only one of the two events in world history is an act of inhumanity? And why only one of the two needs to be condemned? The Indian Politicians *facepalm*
