Disclaimer: this is NOT a religious post.. Just a quick critique of the film and a few simple questions. I thought Passion of the Christ was supposed to be antisemitic? I finally forced myself to sit through it, and I didnt find it to be the least bit antisemitic. WTF was the uproar about? Just another act and a river of false tears from the Kosher critics, of course. Sure, a few of the Jews were made to look bad, but nearly all of the Romans were portrayed as being truly ruthless and barbaric (Jewish projection of blood lusting and a deep satisfaction in torturing innocent people, all directed by Mel Gibson). At one point the evil antisemitic soldier even called the righteous cross-bearing bear Jew a JEW (oy vey, how those Jews have always suffered from antisemitism). You know, there were a few bad apples in the Jewish bunch, but most of them were victims, peasants, mistreated by the Romans, and their hearts were full of love (even for their enemies). Worse than that, the King Jew himself is said to be our lord. Whom we must all go through in order to find god. In essence, our path to salvation must go through a Jew (who is said to be the most selfless and noble of all men). Our lord a Jew? I think not, but according to this film (and most Christian preachers these days) he was. Lord Jew even tells us to love our enemies and to pretty much be pacifists no-matter-what. Jesus and Mel Gibson both must have known who those enemies were/are, right? Well, what reason do we have for loving these blood-sucking destroyers of all that is good in the world? And who, other than the Jew, would have us loving them as they crucify us all? Yes, yes, you stupid stupid Goyim, turn the other cheek so that we may continue acting against you with impunity. Then pray to Lord Jew for your salvation. And why does the lord Jew have a fixation with drinking blood? How very Jewish of him indeed. Drink his blood so as to remember him? Eat his flesh? Really, is that flesh eating and blood drinking stuff taken out of the Jew-written part of the bible or do all Christians (even my C.I. friends) believe in that part as well? I sincerely hope not, because I find the very thought of it to be revolting (and once more, very Jew-like). I mean, who, other than a Jew, would have even thought to pencil that into the bible? Drinking blood? Eating flesh? Sick, twisted, and highly Jewish. I know, I know, Jesus was NOT a Jew. Most of the things I have been told about him were not true (same as with Hitler or any other righteous antisemites throughout time) and only part of the bible is said to have been written by the Jews, but I didnt find this film to be anything short of pro-Jewish propaganda, and now I know why Mel was given the green-light to make it. All of the cries of antisemitism appear to have been part of the act. Anyhow.. I wish I could have those two hours of my life back, but since I cant, I felt the need to spend the last 10 minutes slamming it. But please, dont anyone ever tell me again that this film was antisemitic and that Mel Gibson pissed the Jews off with it.
