The pixillated monochrome. Flat colour, ascending in tonal scales. Thickly textured oils arrayed in hard edges. Soft forms of felt falling into geometry. Even the concrete alcoves of the museum started to turn into Jacks paintings… This show is intimately curated with displays of his process - sculptures, artist books, drawings, prints and watercolours too.
