Discovering our divine destiny The journey of faith, The journey of grace, To live in the heavenlies And never settle for status quo. To live with talents of the Lord, Finding full expression in eternal dimensions. From the few to the many Never settling for a penny, Wicked mediocrity never accepted But to enter the happiness of The Lord. Well done, God and faithful servant You have been true to me Faithful in your handling, Partnership established The celebration of Joy The satisfaction of God The overflowing of Grace The invitation is to be great in God’s kingdom Not the few and the proud, but everyone, The longing to significantly matter, The desire of greatness is in our DNA The orientation of heaven established, If only we’d stay in The Way Whatever it takes to be recognized, The accomplishment well established, The shell game, The target always moving What kind of price has been paid? How hollow the recognition So how much is pretentious? Focused on the resources, Focused on the opportunity Focused on the resources Focused on the externals, Such a great and vast pity When His desire for us, Was to rule over cities. How are you using your capacities? Are your abilities aligned with Christ? Are your gifting’s and talents, Being wasted on you, Or have you tasted of Grace, And the heavenly dew So how do you do, Why do you do, what you do? Do you refuse to lose, Or refuse to use, Refusing the holy and heavenly beckon. It’s time to change the trajectory Time to change the orbit, Concentric circles are of no use, For it’s the intersection that changes a heart, Truth and mercy kiss, Behold both the severity and kindness of God, Give and it shall be given unto you Turn the other cheek, Give the man your shirt and coat, Forgive and love the thief Be kind to the wicked, Bless those who curse, Tired of being the worst? Reality of the heart To be good, To be faithful, And to have a servants heart, In all due diligence, Only in His significance You are good; You are the source of good, So train me in Your goodness Sincerity, loving activity Hospitality, dedicated mobility, Firmly planted on The Rock, The vision of outlandish capability Inner character revealed in actions No response, no follow through, No vision, no outcome, No diligence, no risk, No faith, no way. It’s not a gamble, and not the lottery But trusting in the voice of the Lord, The appropriate risk To appropriate the promise So be full of faith, It is good. Lazy, mediocre, the inactive sloth Leads to the ultimate and wicked demise, Unresponsive and inconclusive Judgment and condemnation run a muck, Perfection always just out of reach, Just plain ole ordinary Wicked, lazy, worthless, Even in the small and difficult things It’s time to be ruined for the ordinary, It’s time to be ruined for the ordinary. Time for reorientation The new and holy mastery The grace to repent The loving consent, To what He represents And to recognize and codify That His Ways are not mine So it’s time to repent and change paradigms. Repent of comparing yourself to your cultural Repent of comparing yourself to yourself Repent of comparing yourself to your family, Repent of comparing yourself to your wealth Repent of placing your desires ahead of God’s Repent of esteeming your schemes and your dreams Repent of devaluing what God values and calls hallowed Repent of not trusting and listening to The Father Cooperation The marriage of faith and hope, The union of love and risk, The unity of diversity The harmony, the symphony The Reception So be still and listen, To the sure and holy beckon That we reckon ourselves dead to sin, And alive to The risen Christ.
