Discussing elsewhere how we picked the names we did for our dogs! I put heaps of thought into this always, as names are what define us throughout our life (they are charged with energy) and when you pick the right one, you just know it and it feels so good :) I find it fun to hear others stories, so heres the history behind mine: PASH - his registered name was Szolnoki Pasztor and I was convinced at the time that Pasztor should be pronounced Pashtor (this wasnt right, as zs produces that sound in Hungarian, not sz). As most people couldnt remember that full name, we shortened it to Pash and that suited him so very well! CIRRUS - named after the cloud that precedes a storm. Cirrus litter all received registered names associated with Shakespearean characters and Cirrus was Alonso from The Tempest. As we drove home with him from the breeder through a storm, it seemed appropriate that he get a storm cloud name. Ironically many people thought he was called Serious, as he was rather aloof and serious. SHANDY - one of those favourite drinks names and something fizzy and golden (lager shandy) seemed a perfect fit for our first Vizsla girly :D PIA - pretty little girl name and very appropriate for her, although it is just a bit of her registered name Olympia
