Discussion for my FB fam: DC is very close or has passed the notion to create a bill to legalize the recreational and medicinal use of Marijuana for its DC residents. My question to all is who will this benefit? And how fair will it be to all residents. Federal government employees.....No, because you are still subject to random drug testing. DC government employees.......No,because you are subject to random drug testing as well. Employees of private large or small businesses......No, because the owners still reserve the right to randomly test their employees and have the right to terminate you if drug use is suspected. (To include Marijuana) Sooooo..... if you are a Fed govt employee the answer is NO! it doesnt benefit you. if you are a State govt employee the answer is NO! It doesnt benefit you. If you have a job period the answer is NO! it doesnt benefit you. Then who does this benefit? and how fair to all residents?
