Discussion on macroeconomic scenario at NSU. The Department of Economics, North South University, organised a discussion on ‘Current Macroeconomic Scenario in Bangladesh and Policy Analysis’ in association with the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) on the university campus in the city recently, says a press release. Executive Director of CPD Prof Mustafizur Rahman presented the keynote paper. Prof M Ali Rashid, Chair, Economics Department, NSU, chaired the session. MA Hashem, Chairman, Broad of Trustees, NSU Trust, was present as the chief guest and Prof Amin U Sarkar, Vice Chancellor of NSU, as the special gust. The discussion was aimed to improve the understanding of economics and business students about contemporary macroeconomic situation and policy analysis; and was concluded with an interactive question-answer session. Students of Economics and Business the university took part in the programme.
