Disguise The Curse has accepted my offer for a promotional shoot.. I will be attending a rehearsal in the coming days. There we will discuss what we would like to do and how and when to do it. Typically this is part of my process. Id prefer to meet with the band and discuss creative ideas regarding their photos. After all, the photos are meant to present the band in the best possible way. These pictures are who you are as a musical entity in your current state of evolution. That being said, just because you are in a band doesnt mean you need photos immediately. While they are nice to get and can certainly be a morale booster for a working band, I feel that the time to get photos done is when you or your band is ready to embark on a tour, release a new effort/album, line up changes, and press kits. These photos can help amplify your milestones and changes while keeping you current and complimentary to your music. Some bands dont like to hear this but you are running a business and a business that wants to succeed must put their best foot forward in all areas. and frankly, you have to bust your ass to get what you want. Let me help you do it right.
