Disgusting. Ive always hated pageants for children. Theyre basically just a way for underachieving mothers with low self-esteem to live vicariously through their abused children. I understand some charity organizations depend on parents to willingly rip their 6 year olds eyebrows out and squeeze them into a bikini to be oiled for the public to see, but to me that does not excuse it. Young girls growing into women shouldnt be taught that this is right. That their body isnt good enough the way it was created. That they need to change to be accepted. And now theyre waxing them. Smfh. Any of you ladies that think youre not as bad as the crazy women on tv? Youre wrong and you are. Children dont need anything but themselves to be beautiful. You should be teaching them self respect, not how to put on mascara.
