Disturbing reports coming from the town of Gumsuri of another mass abduction of women and children demonstrate the governments incapability to defend and protect the citizenry from terrorists assault at a time our country is yet to recover from the Chibok tragedy. As a father and a grandfather, I know how it feels going through what those families are going through. I am not going to demand more of their patience and understanding. I am demanding for an end to this tragedy, for the government to deploy every resource at its disposal to secure their freedom, and to ensure that no other child, no other parent, and no other community suffer from this tragedy again
