Dix opening at Jamaican Invite, by Alfons Juck, EME News DURHAM (USA): World and Olympic medallist Walter Dix is looking forward to his first healthy season since 2011, report NBC. The 28 year old’s PBs of 9.88 and 19.53 date back to 2010 and 2011 respectively. Now training in South Carolina under University of South Carolina assistant Kevin Brown, Dix says that his best days are not behind him. With the aim of winning every race that he runs, Dix will open his individual campaign at the Jamaican Invite on Saturday and then at the Cayman Islands Invite on May 7 and Puerto Rico the following week. He also hopes to be part of the USA team competing at the World Relays.
