Dixie is a 7 month old black lab who came to BCAA with a broken hip. Upon further examination, our wonderful veterinarians here decided that it would be best to amputate her leg. Dixie, shares the same qualities that other tripods we’ve had; she doesn’t seem held back by the missing leg. She runs in the yard as if she’s got all four legs and wags her tail and plays just like any other pup. Dixie enjoys the company of other dogs and is eager to find her forever home.
