Ping Abbie Adams, Teressa Petersen Fowler, Tera Edmunds Best, Paula Balzer, Delores Ward, Amy Hinkle-Bruff, Lisa Holstein, Marlene Wolf, Harold Campbell, Kimberly Yoakum Jones, Norma Jean Withers Harris, Tammy Kinkead Rollins and all Dixon area residents. A strong system will produce the first accumulating winter precipitation across the region Thursday and Friday with additional snowfall likely Saturday night and Sunday. At this time a mixture of sleet, snow and freezing rain is expected to develop and impact the area on Thursday before turning to all snowfall by Thursday night and Friday. Several inches of snow and sleet accumulation will be likely to occur. Additional light to moderate snowfall accumulations are then expected Saturday night and Sunday as the next weather system moves across the region. In addition to the freezing or frozen precipitation expected a very cold arctic air mass will spread south in to the region Thursday in to this weekend in to next week with highs temperatures not expected to climb above freezing for the next seven days starting on Thursday.
