Do I get slightly pedantic at times, and sound a bit like a professor? I dont mean to. I try to boil things down, keep them simple and attractive. And try not to be so overly political, always beating up on the Republicans. A good friend of mine chided me for being condescending, Hey, he referenced Helen of Troy without mentioning her by name. (Regarding the Palestinians and Israel). A war fought over a beautiful woman. My friend is an Italian, and I was happy to find he was knowledgeable about the Trojan War (perhaps the Iliad, too). Yes, I do have a bit of world class education. I feel blessed. But I owe it to my family for their sacrifice, and yes, my outstanding teachers. But I also busted my butt, let me tell you. One thing about a Catholic education, you tend to come across a bit of CLASSICAL learning, and yes, probably a little Latin, and certainly philosophy, too. I am grateful for my education, I worked hard to get it. But I dont mean to sound condescending.
