Do They Still Follow The RULES?? Surely we all remebere the Second Commandtment: Thou Shall Not Make Unto You Any Graven Image as rule for Christianinty followers. But wait a minute! Isnt the Graven Images the sin here?? Isnt it the precious resources that were wasted on a gratuituos concrete and other materials to built Jesus Statues, the money that could have be spent to feed the poor? Im sure Church members are proud of their expensive statues, and they probably believe they are fullfiling the commandment to preach the gospel, but they forgot to ASK, WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?? What would Jesus do, indeed with this expensive statues, T-shirts and latte shops in many modern mega churches or $10 000 point of light, paintings or the Christian stores selling $500 gold leaf bibbles, or the apocalyptic Left Behind books series that has repotedly sold More than 80 Million copies and spawened several succesful B-movies?? What would Jesus do about the Unholy weddings of Christianity and capitalism that has turned the faith into a multi-level marketing scheme peddled by preachers urging contributors to get in on the last few remaining mansions of Heaven?? What would Jesus DO? The anser is simple. In the most out-of-character. And therefore most-telling episode in the gospels he whipped the money changers from the temple neh!! But present-day money changers havent gotten the message. Thanks to them Jesus is the hottest brand going, Hes not only in big bussiness, Hes big politics too! This present day-money changers, the latter days of Pharisees has given rise to a new religion, Compassionate Conservatism. Their believe is in the unfailling power of an Invinsible Hand, which is the hand of the beneficent greed. One thing we do know is that this compassionate conservatism has failed the world and failed miserably by resfusing the fundamental Truth!
