Do We Try to ‘Improve’ God’s Plan? You can pick almost any Biblical subject and someone has an idea which they think will make it better. When one takes the step to change to God’s plan that one says, Lord, you did good but I can do better! That is blasphemy! Blasphemy is to speak against someone or something. To tell anyone that the instruction they gave is insufficient attempts to demonstrate that person’s lack of ability. When we suggest a change to the will of God we are placing ourselves in the position of his counselor - or at least we are making the attempt. Is God the one who knows all things? Yes. Then let each one listen to him carefully and follow his instructions diligently?
