Do You See What I See? We are on the threshold of the unveiling - TopicsExpress

Do You See What I See? We are on the threshold of the unveiling of the glory that is being revealed in creation! When our thinking is on negative things, we become unaware of the goodness of God. Every time we see God doing something great, there will always be adverse things going on around us. Such as, when Jesus was being born, the people were being taxed. This didn’t change what God was doing nor does it change it today. Yes, it is true that worldly appetites will never be quenched and we are aware that the nature of all carnality is enmity against God. If there had been a way to make our flesh righteous, there would have been no reason for Jesus to die. We don’t clean flesh; we minister the goodness of God and love people where they are. The conclusion of this is, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Jhn 3:30) Our own sin consciousness causes us to elaborate on the sins of others and we don’t recognize the significance of what the blood of Jesus did at Calvary. We are like Abraham when he asked God if he could find 50 righteous, would he not destroy the city. Abraham continued to ask what if he could find 40, 30, and then just 10 righteous, would God not destroy the city. God was only looking for one and his name is Jesus! Our sin will never be big enough to undo what Jesus did. Our flesh judges itself and there is an end to all flesh and that is the law of sin and death; or the law of seed, time, and harvest. What Jesus did is an inside job and the reason his grace is sufficient is because his divine influence on a life is the Christ within all creation. This is our immortal state, and the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest is about to be revealed. Col 1:26) We can change the atmosphere around us by simply being aware of God’s goodness! Love, Gayle
