Do not EVER get a hotel room at the Doubletree hotel on 72nd St in Omaha. Apparently, they think it is good business to take your money and give you nothing. I had reserved a room for one of our Bee Fest out of town guests who ended up at another area hotel. When I called to inform Doubletree of this and try to arrange a refund, they tell me that due to the fact that I reserved early and paid in full early, my reservation has a no cancel clause meaning that if we dont use the room or their services, they get to keep all the money. Most places I know of call that criminal. The manager, when I explained that this was not acceptable, acted as though he didnt care, it was regular business and let me go on my way. I will NEVER book through DoubleTree or Hilton hotels ever again in regard to business reservations or personal reservations. Sorry DoubleTree, thats just stealing money in my books.
