Do not seek me primarily for what I can give you remember that I the giver and infinitely greater than any gift I might impart to you though I delight in blessing my children I am deeply grieved when my blessings become idols in their heart anything can be an idol if it distracts you from me as your first love I am the ultimate desire of your heart you are safe from danger as you wait in my presence enjoy the greatest gift of all Christ in your life He is the hope of Glory! If your little loved one becomes an idol in your heart you Are endanger that one as well as yourself. I detest idolatry even in the form of parental love so beware of making a beloved child your idol. When you release your love ones to me you are free to cling to my hand. As you entrust others into my care I am free to shower blessings on them. My presence will go with them wherever they go and I will give them rest. This same presence stays with you as you relax and place your trust in me. Watch to see what I will do ! I know every thought before you think it every word before you speak it. My own children have nothing to fear for I have cleansed them by my blood and clothed them in my righteousness. Be blessed by my intimate nearness since I live in you let me also live through you shining my light into the darkness
