Do not skip breakfast dammit! It can seem like a good idea to skip breakfast if you are stressed, anxious or not a morning person, but its always a bad idea. Your blood sugar is low in the morning after a long break without food, so skipping breakfast means your adrenal glands have to pump out stress chemicals in order to keep your body in equilibrium. Youre running on empty! Some people just slam down a coffee for breakfast which of course is taxing to the body and nerves, forcing it into overdrive without adequate fuel. Many non breakfast eaters also find they have cravings for extra food after dinner which can lead to overeating and weight gain. Having balanced small meals throughout the day (yes including breakfast!) will help stop this. Eggs or a protein shake at breakfast, chicken/salad at lunch and protein and veg for dinner. But start with the breakfast and get your blood sugar in balanced mode from the beginning!
