“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. MATTHEW 5:17-20 (NKJV) May we always remember that the Law Jesus is talking about here is the old testament law which Joshua instructs to keep in our hearts and try our best to apply them to our lives without justification of what we know is not right in Gods eyes! Yes we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ but thats no excuse to keep sinning or breaking the Law of God! Every morning we are given the opportunity to try again and again until the day He returns so lets do our part by trying to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. The Law which is the 10 commandments which we have broken and deserve punishment for will bring conviction which will lead to repentance which will reveal joy knowing what Jesus saved you from which will make one want to live a life wanting to please the All Mighty God. May we be a generation that speaks nothing but the truth and yet loves like Jesus loves and not a generation that condemns and stones those for doing wrong! May we all be willing to listen to each other yet seek out the Wisdom from the Holy Spirit to learn from each other.
