Do u have an idea what this thing is?I took her to the vet before and he told me it has something to do with her thyroid, so he gave her 3 types of medication, some antibiotic and 1 of them is a thyroid tablet. its been in my cats back for a while now.. coz every time it starts to dry out/heal she keeps on licking and biting it until it turns bright red. I put a cone collar on her about a month ago but the healing process is just too slow. My other cats kept on licking her so I put her on a huge cage temporarily coz the collar will be useless if my other cats keep on licking her back. Her appetite is normal, her behavior is normal as well (but she looks sad and bored which is understandable). This afternoon I tried to clean her collar and put her in a small carrier, when I took her out for her shower, her back is so red again after she bit and licked it (in the pic). I clean it everyday with hydrogen peroxide and some antibiotic ointment. Does any of your cats had this problem before? does it make sense if i take her to other vet or go back to the same clinic? Thanks
