Do we care - #1 My friends - there is not a greater time of need in my life time than the present, for true spiritual revival. No electoral victories, educational agendas or Judicial decrees are going to right this ship we call the American experiment. We must have a true deeply felt and sincere spiritual awakening. An awakening to the true gospel and all its glory. But I still have to ask... How much do you care? Do you care enough to pray? Do you care enough to read and learn? Are you open to instruction? Or at least some modest ideas. Is life as you understand it, important enough to pursue whatever it takes to spread the love of Jesus. If this is not your idea of Christianity, by all means,,, move on. Dont waste your precious time. But if you are feeling upset about the current state of this nation, feeling angry or even just puzzled that our moral climate and cultural decline is almost beyond comprehension... then please read on. In fact Im asking you to read on over this next week as Im going to share a heart to heart message that Im believing is from the Lord - stirring us to care enough for our countrymen, our families and children, and childrens children. The first step is always found in humility. We need His grace all the more and is a consequence of humility. Humility is the mental and spiritual ascent that allows us to be teachable and mold-able, He has the ability to direct our paths and it is most definitely the place to hear His voice. Im thinking we need to hear now more than ever. Father - I lift up my friends and ask Your divine intervention for all those willing to seek Your face. Turn us upside down and inside out Lord. Mess up our hair, our plans and our own agendas. Awaken us all to the desperate plight we find ourselves in. At the same time let us marvel at the fact that it is highly possible that we will be the generation that witnesss Your return. What a glorious time to be alive Father - help us to see that, relish it and desire more of what You have for us, Right now Lord send forth Your ministering angels to reveal Your truths, protect us from unbelief and doubt. Give us the strength of character to rise above the noise and understand clearly what the spirit is saying to the churches. Let us awaken daily with a freshness of spirit and a hope and excitement for the day. Who will You bring into our paths? What circumstances are directed for us to experience and overcome? What revelations are for us to learn and grow with? Father as we press in to You and set our hearts to discover our place in Your kingdom, and our place in these end times... help us to care enough to be completely obedient to You Father. And in our obedience may we ignite a holy fire... in Jesus name I pray!
