Do we cover-up lies and deceits? Do we think that God does not know? God will not be mocked ! He will hold accountable those that belong to Him and those that REFUSE to be part of His family who love and trust Him ONLY ! Malachi 2 reminds us: 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for [one] covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously. 2:17 Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied [him]? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil [is] good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where [is] the God of judgment? [Are we calling good evil and calling evil acts good? Are we wearing God with our neglect, our disobedience, our refusal to obey Him and His Word? Do we think that this world will go on indefinitely in the slanted way //////// that it is going in rebellion against the Creator God and against all humanity in violence, hatred and lack of concern? Well, Jesus told His disciples to love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you. You might say, where is that, here it is:>>>>Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Think about that, it is easy to love them that love you back, but what about those that hate you, curse you, use you, persecute you, can we really love them? Well, my dear friends, Jesus said in Matt.5:44 above that we should love our enemies. Wow, what a statement, did you take that in? If, we are to be in heaven and to be with Jesus and God the Father forever, then we must take on the attributes of Christ. His character must become our character. His ways and His thoughts must become our thoughts! Remember God is Love! God is Kind! God is Merciful! God is Forgiving! Hence, as a child of God, His children, of necessity, must show His face in loving actions before others in our world of turmoil and violence. Remember Christ when He was spit upon, beaten, undressed before the staring mob on the Cross of Calvary had these last words to His Father... Father forgive them for they know not what they do. You and I must learn to forgive as Christ did. Matthew 5 concludes with these words: 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so? 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. { Did you take this in: Be ye (you & me) perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. } [ God in His sphere is perfect and through Christ Jesus ALONE, through the power of the Holy Spirit which lives within those who allow Him to live within, you and I can become perfect in our sphere of influence in the world.
