Do we even need a coach? Former Real Madrid manager Carlos Queiroz wants R2,1Million-a-month, to re-join South Africa as national coach for Bafana Bafana.... no matter how much money is pumped into soccer to make them better, they remain “a useless bunch of losers”. So now were looking for a new coach to bring the team that is currently at number 65 in the world up to speed. Well, Im no soccer expert but it aint going to happen because the problem isnt just the coach, its the players. Put bluntly, theyre not very good at doing the job they are being paid to do. Which means that they are proud South Africans because our peculiar economic system encourages the employment of people who are incapable of doing what they are paid to do on condition that they pass the melanin test. If we continue to insist on racial demographics in sport and business then we are doomed to mediocrity. Winning nations appoint the best person for the job.... So the question remains, why do we need a coach? What does he do anyway for R2.1m? Quite honestly it doesnt matter who is appointed as coach to the national soccer squad because the money is so good that its of no concern if the team win anything ever again. For R2.1 million-a-month I also wouldnt give a toss about the result. timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/2014/07/25/queiroz-wants-four-times-more-than-igesund-to-coach-bafana
