Do you have a spare bed? There are lots of people coming to Sydney for Jazz BANG in October. That means heaps of new people for us to dance with! It also means there are a lot of dancers looking for a bed to help them save money. Hosting visiting dancers is a long tradition in swing dance - host someone now, and youll have a host when _you_ travel to dance! What does hosting involve? - you provide a bed (or mattress or couch - whatever it is, make sure you make it clear to the hostee), blankets and sheets - your hostee is very appreciative. You dont have to, but most hosts travel to and from dances with their hostee (yay! a dance buddy!), give touristing advice, and perhaps provide breakfast. Your hostee will buy you dinner (or perhaps bring you a present!). You dont have to let them use your wi-fi, you dont do their laundry, and you dont have to taxi them around town in your car. Pros: you have one dance guaranteed each night. Cons: um.... If you can/want to host, please let your out-of-town dance friends know.
