Do you have concerns and observations about the 2014 election - TopicsExpress

Do you have concerns and observations about the 2014 election cycle? Come share them this Saturday - this is important information, and a chance to get that information to the elected officials who have a chance to do something about fixing our broken elections here in Colorado. From Senator-Elect Chris Holbert: The Republican Study Committee of Colorado (RSCC) will host a fact-finding hearing Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing and summarizing the multi-partisan views of the voters, candidates, activists and officials. The meeting will be held at the Colorado Auto Dealers Association Building at 290 E. Speer Blvd in Denver. If youd like to share your views regarding the Colorado election process, then please join us for the hearing and come prepared to present your experiences, concerns, complaints, and compliments. The goal is to create a list of issues and potential legislative solutions that members might address during the 2015 legislative session. We expect to be able to allow speakers up to 5 minutes to present their issues of interest, particularly in the context of what legislative measures could address their election quality concerns. We urge you to bring copies of a written outline of your comments to share with the group. A suggested format is provided below for reference. Power Point slide presentations are welcome as well, which you should bring on a flash drive. It would be helpful for our planning, although not required, to have your presentations or outlines in advance. If you are able to do so, then please email those materials to: senatorlundberg@gmail If you cannot attend, but have a topic you would like to present, short videos (3 minutes or less) will be accepted, by You Tube, or other internet site, or by flash drive. Please RSVP to senatorlundberg@gmail to let us know you can attend. If you wish to make comments, please let us know how many minutes you will need for your initial comments (up to 5 minutes). We look forward to your RSVP and seeing you on Saturday, January 3 at 10 a.m at the Colorado Auto Dealers Association Building at 290 E. Speer Blvd in Denver. ================== Republican Study Committee of Colorado 2014 Election Review Workshop Summary of Presenter Comments (Optional) Name of Presenter: ___________________________________________________ County of Residence: ___________________________________________________ Role in Election (voter, judge, watcher, canvasser, candidate, etc.) ___________________________________________________ Topics of concern, dates and counties where experience occurred: ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ Suggested Legislative or Rule-making remedies: ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________ Contact information for presenter: Email: _____________________________________________ Phone: ____________________________________________ Mailing address: ____________________________________ __________________________________________________ Please forward your RSVP, presentation materials, and/or Comments Summary to: senatorlundberg@gmail
