Do you have thoughts that torment you? Thoughts that are wrong, and you can’t shake them. There are times that even in the night, these same things come into your mind in the form of a dream….you hate it, but it won’t go away. Why does this happen? You don’t want it to, you try everything you can to make it go away………….. I don’t know what sort of battle you are in my friend, but I do know that is it warfare. The thing about warfare, victory is assured for you if you know Jesus Christ and I am going to be teaching you over the next few weeks HOW to stand firm in the Lord. It is not impossible, it is YOUR victory!!! I would like you all to get some 3 x 5 cards and write down the following verses. Each day, read these verses 3 times aloud. Within a short time, you will have them memorized. I will show you over a period of weeks HOW to apply these verses to your life and exactly what they mean, but for now, you need to engrave them on your heart. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with Truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit and with this in view, be on the alert with all perserverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak bolding, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:11-20 Ask God to open the eyes of your understanding and to lead you into truth. Stand firm against the enemy and all his strategies to keep you from doing this study with me. Victory is assured to those who know HOW victory is won and who a war accordingly.
