Do you hold your ground with unbelievers? They act like the emergency message for their salvation is worth as much as a magazine at the dentist. If you do hold your ground, they begin to curse and blaspheme. Thats when youre up against the spirits behind the person. You have to actually separate your conversion away from the person and onto the hateful spirits. You have to press them with the Truth. The gospel is the Word of God, a sword coming out of the mouth of Christ and your mouth, too. I find myself in an increasing number of situations where I have to forgive the person, but bind the dark spirits. Its all about the words. You can discern spirits by what is being said. We are meant to have power over them, but they try to scare us off by roaring at us. Holding your ground isnt against the humanity of the people, but against the territorial darkness that wants to keep control of those souls. You have to understand the depth of the strong delusion that has been poured out into them. Unbelievers believe that life is like some kind of doctrinal buffet, where any old thing they believe is just fine. It doesnt occur to them that you are crucifying your self-protecting instincts, in order to care about their soul. They think of you as an enemy, because the enemy is supplying their thoughts. Its electric and its in the air. Take courage. You can do it.
