Do you know Jesus? Does He live in your heart?? Listening to this song and it tells how we are to be Gods hands and feet..His arms to reach around the world. We, as Christians are to be the salt of the earth, but if we have lost our savour, wherewith shall we be salted?? If we have lost that zeal, fire and desire, what do we do? What will be done? We will be cast out and trodden under foot of men. When were first saved, we were excited, we wanted to tell those around us what God did for us, but has anything changed since that day? Maybe these are questions were suppose to think about... My toes are being stepped on, because I know I need more of that zeal again, that desire, but for some reason, it seems those things slip away sometimes. Have I forgotten how good Jesus has been? Have you?? Have any of us? I know these are a lot of questions, but truthfully Im just writing how the Lord leads, because without Him we can do nothing. The Lord woke us up today; He didnt have to, but He did. He saved us, when nothing else could save us..He died for a sinful, hateful world and loves the unlovable. He cares enough to protect us from unseen things, but yet well complain about how things didnt happen our way. We have the precious Holy Ghost, who is the POWER of God; not a flicker, not a flame, but a consuming fire (Lord, help us to receive this!!) He seems so far away sometimes, but Hes closer than the next breath we take. He promises to give grace to them that are humble, perfect strength to them that are weak, love and mercy to them that dont deserve it. God cares for you; really cares for you..His desire is not for anyone, Christian or sinner, to perish; His desire is not for you to be sick or destroyed..He loved us enough to give everything for us, even part of His kingdom, if well continually serve Him. I was reading in 1 Samuel, how Hannah wanted a baby so much, but she was barren..So, she would go to the temple and prayed quietly, asking the Lord for a child, vowing to dedicate him to God. The Lord granted her petition, and when she had Samuel and weaned him, she lent him to God. The Lord, seeing her devotion in lending Samuel to Him, blessed her with five more children...O love of God, how rich and pure; how measureless and strong. It shall forevermore endure, the saints and angels song. ..I just want someone out there to know; God wants you to know that He loves you..You may feel all alone and may not see any reason to live, but if you werent important to God, why would He make you and allow you to live each day, though you live your own life without Him. He loves you and wants you to be saved. Heaven is real and so is hell. You need Jesus and He wants you. Just repent of your sins and Hell save you. It dont take 1 or 2 hours; it dont even take 10 minutes; just a few moments to tell Him youre sorry and want Him to come in your heart. Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
