To all police and Protecters,Can we please just for one day Be kind and to each other,Keep the anger away, We are sister and brother.Wether we like it or not, Even if some wear uniforms,And some do not look at each other a moment,See Into each others eyes, Wether activists or police,For once, just compromise. No,we dont have to curse,No,you dont have to push, We dont have to do this,Its all up to us. Every day so much aggression,And So much angry talk, Why cant we all join together,For a peaceful country walk,? Yes ,we all know that igas,Are pressuring you to hurry, And if ya dont shove us quick enough, Someone higher up ,Will stress and worry But will the ones above two pips,be helping your families,your kids When your waters is from nestleTwo bottles for five quid? And will those at the topThe ones giving out your orders Will they come to assist youWhen you have no clean drinking water? And if the ground starts to shake,Where then will you go? Will the government be assisting?I think the answer,you know.... And as we fight for your pensionsIn many other campaigns No,we dont want you privatisedAnd it would be such a shame You see the government are using youTo crush our acts of dissent And yet we may be the ones Who keep you paying your rent Forget the colours we wearJust for one fracking day Red and black,or just hippie,Black and yellow,cast it away Im not seeing cops or activists no more Im not seeing a difference,Because Im quite sure That I can only see humans,Because thats all there really is Whatever the colour Of your fracking hi vis Im seeing people ,With their own general fears Im seeing people All of which Have had fun,joy and tears Im seeing humans with feelings Im seeing the good and the bad Im seeing the happy,Im seeing the sad Im seeing the shame,And the stress and the pain Im seeing everyone fighting When surrounded by beauty on the lane Im seeing the laughter ,Im hearing the songs Im seeing mishevious chuckles ,From both sides for so long And if you think either side ,Can win the argument this way Then you are very mistaken,The problems not going away We want it stopped,They want it some more And you police are just trying To keep doing your job a while more Some claim to be awake,Some accuse others of being a sleep And yet I see some on both sides,Following like sheep I dont care where ya came from,Or what uniforms you wear I dont care about anything,Except the fact that I care And so just take it easy,Both sides just chill out Until the line drawn between us Can be softly rubbed out
