Do you know about the Childrens Christmas Shop in La Grange? Have you taken your kids or grandkids there to shop? It is in the Antique shop on Main street! This is a wonderful thing that Don & Sharon Sherwood started several years ago and is a great thing for kids. The kids can go there and buy Christmas presents for their family, teacher, whatever. EVERYTHING is priced from 5 cents to 50 cents. YES, that is correct. These are new or very lightly used items. They have toys, purses, Christmas decorations, coffee mugs, wallets, tools, flashlights, etc. Something for everyone on the kids list to buy for. River House Bar has a donation can set out for donations and they will match the first $50 donated to help buy more items for next year. Drop in and donate to this great cause. Just one more reason I am proud to say I live in LaGrange. What a loving and caring community of people. They take donations at the shop all year long so ask Sharon about it when you stop in to browse the antiques! Merry Christmas!!!!
