Do you know faithful brethren, who in all sincerity, dont look half as blessed as you? Or do you know brethren, you know you are faithful than, or share the same level with in service and devotion, but they are way blessed than you? I was asking my friend to explain the phenomenon. And he said, TIMING, GODS TIMING. And thats the scary part, because we all know, HE (GOD) wants us to be prepared, HE wants us to be holy, HE wants us to aim for the best and be perfectly faithful YET THE BIG SKELETON IN THE ROOM IS THAT HIS BLESSINGS COME NOT JUST BECAUSE WE ARE THESE THINGS BUT ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF HIS MERCY AND HIS CHOOSING. Its the ALMIGHTY S choice ; HIS exclusive preserve, HIS prerogative. Its been like that since Esau and Jacob, Manasseh and Ephraim, Leah and Rachel. The dynamics, its like oxymoron; its a simple yet complex, straight forward in a corner corner rather confusing way for my logic. The bible talked about some pple in Heb 11 who had faith but died in their faith with out seeing what they had faithed for; because the world isnt worthy of them; its like in GODS eyes they are too good for any blessing here on earth, so HE reserving their own blessing for them in Heaven. (nor be me talk am o. Read ya bible). Am not down playing the place of staying faithful; Scripture says He that endures to the end, the same is saved. We should still stay faithful no matter how long the blessings has lingered because we r not serving the Giver because of HIS gifts, but because we love HIM. Mehn!!! Nor be joke.
